NEW ZEALAND: A man who was vaccinated against Covid-19 up to ten times in one day on behalf of others has been called outrageously arrogant, and an inquiry was initiated.
According to news sources, Astrid Koornneef, Group Manager, Covid-19 vaccine and immunisation program, said the Ministry of Health was conscious of the issue and took it very seriously.
She expressed her concerns about the situation and stated that they would be working with the relevant authorities. Nonetheless, the location of the incident was not disclosed by the administration.
Helen Petousis-Harris, a vaccinologist and associate professor, described the behaviour as "unbelievably selfish" and stated that this action was an exploitation of underprivileged people.
She added that people who were not vaccinated but claimed to be might do great harm.
As per Helen Petousis-Harris, a man who received multiple doses of the Covid-19 vaccination is unlikely to have significant side effects but would likely feel uncomfortable the next day as a result of a general immunological reaction.
