NFEH is organising national conference on Waste Management Challenges

KARACHI: National Forum for Environment and Health (NFEH) is holding a National Conference on "Waste Management Challenges and Opportunities" on August 16 at Karachi's local hotel. 

President Naeem Qureshi announced this in the meeting of the NFEH Advisory Committee held at the NFEH Office. 

Naeem Qureshi said a conference and colourful award ceremony would be held on August 16, 2022. The conference will be highlighting waste management issues in Karachi, industries & hospital waste and disposal and other challenges. 

Zubair Ahmed Channa, Managing Director Sindh Solid Waste Management Board, Dr Shehzada Irshad Muhammad, Integrated Solid Waste Management Specialist SWEEP, Umer Nadeem Arif, EMC Pakistan, Wasif Ijlal, CEO Trans Karachi, Prof Dr Noman Ahmed, Dean NED University, Naveed Asghar, Patron ABAD Mohsin Shaikhani, Hina Jamshed, Huma Halepoto & others will address on occasion. 

President NFEH said more than 70 companies would be awarded for best performance on environment protection on the event day.
