Inquiry, post-mortem report of Arshad Sharif reveal new evidence

NAIROBI: The investigative teams have discovered that prominent Pakistani journalist Arshad Sharif passed away half an hour after the reported missing vehicle was retrieved.

In contact with media organizations, Douglas Wainaina Kamau, a florist, stated that he is the owner of the Mercedes Benz Sprinter 311 with the registration number (KDJ 700F) and that he reported it missing to the Pangani police station on October 23, 2022.

He stated that he had left his son Duncan inside the vehicle on Sunday, March 23, 2022, before leaving for errands. However, it was gone when he returned to where he had parked the vehicle.

The bullet wounds to Arshad Sharif's head and right lung were the cause of the journalist's death, as determined by the autopsy reports.

Informed sources confirm that all but one post-mortem report for Arshad Sharif has been received.

The Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) report indicates that Arshad Sharif's autopsy was also conducted in Kenya.

Arshad Sharif's body bore the imprint of a post-mortem performed in Kenya. It may take one more week for the final report to arrive.
