Enquiry Committee constituted to probe sexual harassment case of Korangi Hospital

KARACHI: The Sindh Health Department has constituted a three-member committee to probe the sexual harassment case against the Additional Medical Superintendent of the Sindh Government Hospital Korangi, Dr Farrukh Sher Khan.

The 3-member Enquiry Committee comprised of Dr Aijaz Khanzada, OSD, Sindh Health Department (Chairman), Muhammad Ibrahim Memon, Deputy Secretary (Admin-I), Health Department, and Iftikhar Alam Bablani, Section Officer-I, Health Department (member/sectary).

The enquiry committee was formed to probe into the matter regarding the incident of sexual harassment as reported by the Medical Superintendent of the Sindh Government Hospital Korangi and appeared on electronic media on May 9th, 2019 against Dr Farrukh Sher Khan, Additional Medical Superintendent, SGHK.

The committee members have been directed to conduct a detailed enquiry and submit the report within fifteen days positively.
