Coronavirus death toll reaches 3400 in 90 countries

KARACHI: The coronavirus epidemic crossed a milestone of affecting more than a million people, according to the latest reports.

The novel COVID-19 has now killed 3400 people across 90 nations. China has reported 28 new deaths due to the coronavirus as well as 99 new cases. In India, 31 cases have been diagnosed, and 31,000 have been put under quarantine across several hospitals.

The World Health Organization has graded the COVID-19 'very high' in terms of risk to human life.
