LAHORE- The Young Doctors Association (YDA), Pakistan, has pointed out that the registration of 750 doctors is still pending with the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) Islamabad despite a passage of one year.
According to a press release the YDAP leader - Dr Salman Kazmi said; These 750 doctors had passed their fellowship exam of FCPS in the last two years and later applied for registration with the PMDC but till today their registration could not be done and the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has debarred them from appearing in the interviews, for selection as senior registrars.
He appealed to federal minister Saira Afzal Tarrar to get the PMDC registration of 750 doctors released by taking personal interest in the matter otherwise these doctors will be forced to protest outside the PMDC Islamabad office.
