KARACHI: The two-day Health & Wellness Expo 2024, recently held at a local hotel in Karachi, concluded with a display of advanced emergency services by Sindh Integrated Emergency & Health Services (SIEHS) 1122.
As a prominent exhibitor, SIEHS presented its cutting-edge fleet comprising ambulances, motorbike and mountain cycle-mounted emergency staff and equipment.
SIEHS also showcased its telemedicine service, Tele-Tabeeb 1123, alongside exhibits on research, development, and education, fleet management, and biomedical support.
Brig Tarique Quadir Lakhiar, CEO of SIEHS, delivered a keynote address titled “Transforming the Pre-Hospital Management Matrix,” where he outlined the organisation’s progress in emergency healthcare across Sindh.
He credited the Sindh government's backing for the expansion of SIEHS services, stating, “What started with the Aman Foundation has evolved into a comprehensive, free ambulance service with 461 advanced vehicles serving 30 districts in Sindh. We handle around 20,000 calls daily, many requiring urgent medical care, and we are committed to meeting these needs."
The expo attracted healthcare professionals, industry leaders, and prominent social figures, all commending SIEHS’s efforts to innovate and enhance pre-hospital care across the region.
