The German ministry of foreign affairs confirmed the report by stating, Annalena Baerbock received a positive screening test today after lunch.
She tested positive for the virus after lunch, as the foreign minister had observed that she had lost her sense of taste. According to the ministry's official Twitter account, Baerbock frequently checks herself for the virus.
According to the report, she tested negative for the virus in the morning. Baerbock's remaining trip dates, including trips in Greece and Turkey, have been canceled after he tested positive for the virus, according to the government.
Earlier in the day, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar, and other senior officials greeted her warmly upon her arrival at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
