It also has been suggested that the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) repeal the 'conflict of interest' clause from the PMC Act 2020 and allow those regulated to participate in the body's regulatory and decision-making processes.
The statement clarified that the revisions to the statute were, nevertheless, the Parliament's sole authority. It stated that similar concerns were made by the Sindh Government and that the Ministry of Health requested a report from the Commission.
In addition, the Commission has submitted a comprehensive report addressing all of the concerns, including the fact that all provinces and industries are represented and have a presence at the Commission and that each province has nominated members on the National Academic Board.
