KARACHI: Prime Minister's Focal Person on COVID-19, Dr Faisal Sultan, and other experts recently visited the Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) to inspect the treatment facilities being provided to coronavirus patients in the hospital.
Special Assistant to PM Digital Pakistan, Tania Airdus, and Chief of Staff, National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), Brig Ali Adil, were also present on occasion.
The aim behind the visit was to obtain a firsthand insight into Karachi’s major health care capacity and fostering enhanced cooperation and coordination with the NCOC.
The team was birdied about COVID-19 treatment modalities being used at the CHK and the steps taken by the hospital’s administration to enhance and establish the High Dependency Units (HDUs) and the Intensive Care Units (ICU).
