4th China-Pakistan medical moot promotes medical collaboration 

KARACHI: Shanghai recently hosted the 4th China-Pakistan Medical Conference aiming to promote medical collaboration between the two countries, and facilitate the exchange of knowledge, expertise, and best healthcare practices.

 A 55-member delegation from the Pakistan Medical Association (PMA), led by Dr. Abdul Ghafoor Shoro, Secretary General of the PMA, actively participated in the three-day conference,  engaging in discussions, presentations, and workshops covering a broad range of medical topics. This collaborative platform provided a unique opportunity for professionals from both countries to learn from each other and enhance their skills.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Shoro stressed the importance of international cooperation in advancing healthcare initiatives and promoting strong professional relationships between China and Pakistan. He commended the participants for their efforts in promoting medical excellence and innovation.

The conference featured keynote speeches from prominent figures such as Prof. Jia Weiping, Prof. Syed Tipu Sultan, Prof. Ashraf Nizami, Prof. Yao Ke, Dr. Qazi Wasiq, Prof. Chen Dechang, and Prof. Shahid Shamim.

Panel discussions and networking sessions enabled participants to share their research findings, clinical experiences, and technological advancements in the medical field.

The success of the 4th China-Pakistan Medical Conference underscores the commitment of both nations to strengthening healthcare collaboration and improving the quality of medical services for the benefit of patients in the region.
