HYDERABAD: A significant turnout of more than 3,700 students was witnessed in the entrance test for the academic session 2023-2024 across various undergraduate degree and diploma courses at the Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS) Jamshoro.
The available seats for different programmes include 100 seats for Doctor of Physiotherapy at the Institute of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Sciences, LUMHS, 50 seats for the Institute of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Bilawal Medical College, 80 seats for Doctor of Pharmacy, 100 seats for BS Nursing, 40 seats for BS Biomedical Engineering at the College of Technology, LUMHS, and a degree programme with 70 seats for BS Forensic Science in Forensic Biology.
Prof. Dr. Ikram Din Ujaan, the Vice-Chancellor of LUMHS, says the university has introduced various new courses to provide students with opportunities to secure their futures in diverse fields of medical sciences. The high number of participants reflects the keen interest and demand for these programs at LUMHS, he adds.
