KARACHI: The Registration Board of the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (Drap) has approved the registration of five insulin products.
This development comes following a series of transformative measures being implemented in Drap on the direction of the caretaker Federal Minister for Health, Dr Nadeem Jan.
The board also approved one product each of heparin and flu vaccine.
Ordered by Dr Nadeem Jan, these initiatives aim to expedite and streamline the registration process for medicines.
Dr Jan emphasised the significance of these measures, stating that they will substantially enhance the availability of these essential medicines in the market.
He assured that the ministry is working on ensuring a swift and uninterrupted supply of life-saving medicines to meet the healthcare needs of the people.
