ISLAMABAD: The One-Day International Conference titled "Sustainable Health Systems and Resilience: Challenges and Opportunities" will take place on Tuesday, October 8, at COMSTECH, Islamabad. Organized by the US-based Manhattan Strategy Group, in partnership with local organizations, the event is dedicated to Pakistan's public health workers.
Global health experts, policymakers, and stakeholders will gather to discuss health system transformation. The conference will be inaugurated by Dr. Malik Ahmad Bharath, Coordinator to the Prime Minister on National Health Services. Keynote speakers include Dr. Erin Sorrell from Johns Hopkins, Dr. Hammad Ali from the US CDC, and General Aamer Ikram, former NIH Pakistan Executive Director.
The event will feature five technical sessions covering topics like health system strengthening, universal health coverage, public-private partnerships, data integration, and climate resilience. The conference also marks the launch of the Manhattan Strategy Group's operations in Pakistan, aiming to address the country's healthcare challenges through strategic partnerships.
With over 150 attendees, including health professionals and international representatives, the conference promises to be a significant forum for advancing healthcare in Pakistan.
