53 more dengue cases reported in Sindh   

KARACHI: As many as 53 more dengue fever cases have been reported across Sindh in 24-hours, out of which 16 were recorded in Karachi, 32 in Matiari, four in Tharparkar and one in Jamshoro.

The Vector-Borne Diseases (VBD) Department of Directorate General Health Services Sindh has recorded 167 dengue cases across the province from 1st to 04th October, out of which 92 were detected in Karachi alone.        

A total of six people have died of dengue fever in Sindh. Three in District Central, one in District East, one in Tharparkar and Matiari each.        

In Sindh, 2123 dengue cases were registered, out of which 1688 were in Karachi alone from 01st January to 04th October.
