KARACHI: Abdul Qadir Katelya, the builder of the demolished Nasla Tower, died in Agha Khan hospital Karachi.
According to details, Qadir had been receiving treatment at the Agha Khan hospital in Karachi for a few days before he was declared dead on Monday.
The deceased was also a spokesperson for the Association of Builders and Developers.
A few months back, Gulzar Ahmed, former Pakistan Supreme Court Chief Justice, ordered the June 28, 2021 demolition of Karachi's Nasla Tower, a residence located in the Shara-e-Quaideen neighbourhood Karachi.
In accordance with Supreme Court (SC) orders, the demolition of Nasla Tower began on November 24, 2021, with local administration.
