KARACHI: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of South Zone, Sharjeel Kharal, and Deputy Commissioner South, Irshad Sodhar, recently paid rich tribute to doctors, nurses, and paramedical staff in a ceremony held at the Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi.
Medical Superintendent, CHK, Dr Noor Muhammad Soomro, Vice-Presidents, YDA Sindh, Dr Waris Ali Jakhrani, Chief Nursing Superintendent, Shaheen Begum, Central President, Sindh Paramedical Staff Welfare Organization, Akhlaq Ahmed Khan, and others were also present on occasion.
DIG South, Sharjeel Kharal, and Deputy Commissioner South, Irshad Sodhar, presented flowers to doctors, paramedics, and nurses after completion of 100 days of coronavirus duties.
DC South, Irshad Sodhar, said healthcare professionals are frontline workers in the fight against the coronavirus, and the district administration salutes all those who lost their lives due to COVID-19.
DIG South, Sharjeel Kharal, also lauded the services of doctors, nurses, and paramedics. He hoped that the COVID-19 pandemic ends in Pakistan soon.
