KARACHI: On the directives of Syed Murad Ali Shah, Chief Minister of Sindh, Hassan Jan Hushe, the renowned mountaineer, athlete and climber, was being provided medical treatment in Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Institute (JPMC) as an Indoor patient for the complaints of kidney problem and a leg infection.
Hassan Jan was hospitalized in JPMC a few days ago. The Chief Minister of Sindh had directed Shahid Rasool, Executive Director, JPMC, to treat the national hero under his personal supervision properly. “He is a national asset and must be looked after properly,” he said.
Syed Murad Ali Shah sent a bouquet to Hassan Jan with best wishes and prayers of early recovery.
Executive Director, JPMC, told Syed Murad Ali Shah that Hassan Jan had been kept in the ward just to monitor his health. He will be discharged within the next two days.
It may be noted that Hassan Jan had surmounted K-2 and Nanga Parbat, Broad Peak.
