JPMC conducts entrance examination, announces interview date

KARACHI: Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) conducted the entrance examination for Fellow of College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan FCPS-II training where round 1700 candidates contested for a number of 80 seats.

Prof Shahid Rasul, Acting Vice-Chancellor, Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU) and Executive Director, JPMC, appealed to the government to increase the capacity of training for FCPS medical professionals number of seats to accommodate graduates to enhance the national output of healthcare facilities.

The FCPS-II training under JPMC consists of numerous medical disciplines, including General Surgery, Radiology, General Medicine, Gynecology and Obstetrics,ENT, Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, Nephrology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Pulmonology, Endocrinology, Neurology, Oncology, Thoracic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Rheumatology, Orthopedic Surgery and Urology.

The eligibility criteria for the FCPS-II training entrance examination was under the FCPS-I training and registration as per Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) guidelines.

Moreover, only the short-listed candidates would be contacted for interviews on January 10, 2022.
