Supreme Court restores National Assembly of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court of Pakistan has made the Deputy Speaker's ruling unconstitutional. 

Judges observed that the Prime Minister of Pakistan was not authorised to advise the President of Pakistan to dissolve the assembly. Judges have ordered the government to conduct a motion of no confidence at 10:00 am 09-04-2022.

Prior to the April 3 ruling by Qasim Khan Suri, Deputy Speaker, National Assembly of Pakistan, Bandial, Chief Justice of Pakistan, claimed that the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan was definitely wrong.
