Punjab Health Minister Takes Notice of The Inhumane Act Performed by LGH Guards

LAHORE- Following the unfortunate incident of torture by the security guards of Lahore General Hospital (LGH), Punjab’s Minister for Health, Dr. Yasmeen Rashid took strict notice of the eventuality, where the patients and their family members, including women, were allegedly beaten by the security guards.

Dr. Yasmeen ordered the concerned authorities to submit a report pertaining to this inhumane incident caused by the security guards.

Spokesman, Health Department stated that, strict action would be taken against the guards who were involved, if proven guilty after the investigation; whereas the hospital administration remained silent over this matter.
