Rawalpindi Medical University Tops National Licensing Exam

RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Medical University (RMC) was declared the best national university by Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) in lieu of topping in the National Licensing Examination (NLE).

“The highest scorer in the NLE was Dr Hamza from Rawalpindi Medical University. This echoes the outstanding training and teaching provided at RMU, shadowed by Wah Medical College (WMC). Secondly, RMU was declared the best center for NLE among countless other universities.” said Prof. Dr Mohammad Umar, the Vice Chancellor of RMC.

“RMU was established in 2017 and certified by the PMC and the Higher Education Commission (HEC) in 2020. In a little over 3 years, RMU had become one of the fastest growing university’s and was ranked first by the Times Higher Education (THE), a ranking agency. And now, the PMC has declared it the best National University when it came to the NLE,” he said.
