ISLAMABAD: With the rising temperatures across the country, dengue cases are surging in Pakistan, with 2,795 new infections reported over the past week, according to the National Institute of Health (NIH).
As per NIH, Balochistan is the most affected province, recording 1,728 cases in the past week. Punjab reported 916 cases, Sindh 116, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 34. Azad Jammu and Kashmir logged a single case, while no cases were reported in Gilgit Baltistan and Islamabad.
