24/7 pharmacy at JPMC

KARACHI- Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre’s (JPMC) administration is in plans to introduce, 24 hours Pharmacy services for admitted and emergency patients, in order to not cause any inconvenience for the patients; and also to control the drug influx from private medical stores, during evening and night shifts.

Executive Director, JPMC, Dr. Seemin Jamali, stated that the management is indeed planning to launch round the clock pharmacy services, for availability of drugs at all times and to facilitate poor patients who are admitted in various wards for treatment, followed by emergency admissions. She further added that, necessary steps have been taken to control the illegal practices within the hospital.

The introduction of such pharmacy services will help in ending the miseries of patients, coming from far flung areas of Sindh, for treatment.
