ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has begun administering the COVID-19 booster dose to persons over the age of 30.
Citizens above the age of 30 would be entitled to a booster dose of their choice, according to the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC). On the other hand, the booster would be given six months after the last dose.

In the face of the mounting threat of Omicron, the Government of Pakistan recommended citizens to observe COVID-19 standard operation procedures, wear masks, and ensure complete immunisation and booster dosages.
