Body formed to recruit staff for trauma centre

Karachi: Sindh Minister for Health Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has formed a five-member committee to recruit technical staff for the recently inaugurated Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Trauma Center, Karachi. 

He took this decision while chairing a meeting at his office. Secretary Health Dr Saeed Ahmed Mangnejo, Additional Secretary Aleem Lashari, MS Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) Prof Dr Saeed Qureshi et al. attended the meeting.

The minister directed the officials to ensure that all the 14 floors of trauma center are made functional within six months.

He also instructed the officials to take proper security measures all around the trauma centre, install electronic system to monitor attendance of employees and discourage local purchase of medicines.

Earlier, secretary health informed the minister that the trauma centre’s record of patients and medicines’ stocks would be computerized.
