Free medical camp for obstetrics, gynaecology

KARACHI: While inaugurating the free medical camp for Gynae/Obs organized by Kharadar General Hospital, a well-known philanthropist and business personality, Muhammad Bashir Jan Muhammad, said that service culture should be promoted to deal with natural calamities. Mankind is a precious gift of nature, and only in his survival is the survival of humanity. Today, the spirit shown by the entire nation in helping the flood victims is the motto of living countries. 

Renowned gynaecologist and obstetrician Dr Zeryab Sethna said that saving the lives of 100,000 pregnant women among the flood victims should be the priority of the government and rescue and relief organizations. In Pakistan, the lives of women and children are under severe threat and concern. Long-term and concrete measures are needed to save these precious lives.
 
Chairman Kharadar General Hospital Prof. Abdul Ghaffar Billoo said that Kharadar General Hospital had done historical services to improve the life of mother and child for the past century, which is a shining example among the institutions of developing countries. Training, education and research have developed an efficient workforce providing high-quality medical services.
