Doctor’s Negligence Alleged - Body formed to probe woman’s death at JPMC

KARACHI- Sindh secretary health Saeed Ahmed Mangnego has set up a committee to investigate into the allegations that death of a woman in JPMC had occurred due to negligence of a doctor.

It may be pointed out that a 30-year old woman, identified as Huma, and her newly-born baby boy, died in JPMC allegedly due to doctor’s negligence.  

The secretary warned of strict departmental action against the doctor if found guilty in the incident.

The committee which will probe the matter under the supervision of head of gynaecology department, Dr Shereen Rehman, has been asked to submit its report within a week.
