KARACHI- Sindh Chief Secretary Muhammad Siddik Memon has asked the Secretary Implementation, SGA&CD to notify JPMC employees’ service structure rules in consultation with all the administrative departments without any further delay.
He said that with a view to saving precious lives of patients all public sector hospitals across Sindh should reactivate their ambulance services.
The chief secretary was speaking at a meeting held to review the progress made, so far, concerning JPMC issues which cropped up following its devolution to the Sindh government in the wake of 18th Amendment. It was also attended by provincial secretaries of health and finance departments.
JPMC’s executive director Prof Anisuddin Bhatti briefed the chief secretary about the hospital’s state of affairs.
The meeting decided that water supply schemes for all Sindh government hospitals will be prepared by the special initiative department in consultation with planning & development department.
It also decided to assign the task of resolving JPMC’s lingering issue of encroachments to Commissioner Karachi.
The chief secretary on this occasion directed the JPMC administration to ensure cleanliness in and around the health facility.
