KARACHI: The Faculty of Eastern Medicine, in collaboration with ORIC, successfully organized a career-focused Faculty Training Program on November 26–27, 2024, at Hamdard University, Karachi. This engaging program aimed to empower educators with advanced teaching methodologies and research skills, fostering career development and innovation in education.
Day 1 Highlights:
Prof. Dr. Arshad Mahmood led an insightful session on "Principles of Ethics in Animal Research," emphasizing the importance of ethical standards in minimizing harm and promoting responsible scientific inquiry.
Prof. Dr. Aqeel Ahmad conducted an interactive hands-on workshop on cell culture techniques, showcasing their pivotal role in biomedical research, including drug testing and disease modeling.
Day 2 Highlights:
Prof. Dr. Sheikh Abdul Saeed introduced Problem-Based Learning (PBL) strategies, focusing on curriculum development. The day also featured an interactive segment where participants designed and discussed PBL scenarios, enhancing practical teaching skills.
Held in Hamdard University's state-of-the-art facilities, the event provided participants with an enriching environment, reinforcing the institution's commitment to academic excellence and professional growth.
