Eye diseases; importance of early diagnosis

KARACHI- Chairman Hashmanis Medical and Welfare Foundation, renowned Eye Surgeon, and Founder Hashmanis Eye Hospital, Dr Sharif Hashmani, recently delivered a comprehensive lecture at Pakistan Chapter of World Memon Organization Conference.

Dr Sharif Hashmani stressed upon the importance of early diagnosis and explained its significance in preventing disease progression. He then added how cost effective this practice could be.

Moreover, he briefly discussed all modern treatment modalities and techniques that were readily being offered in Karachi, to serve patients suffering from eye ailments.

Dr Hashmani stated that, “Timely diagnosis can help in preventing and curing many eye diseases. Delayed diagnosis aggravates these diseases, ultimately increasing hospital stay and cost.”

Furthermore, he informed the audience about all the modern techniques and equipment being used at Hashmanis Hospital, Karachi.
