PDA expresses concerns about the imposition of sales tax on dentists

KARACHI- Pakistan Dental Association (PDA) meeting was conducted at Darul Sehat Hospital in Karachi. Dr Mahmood Shah, president of the Pakistan Dental Association (PDA), presided over the meeting.

The meeting's agenda included the imposition of sales taxes on dental surgeons in the province of Sindh by the Sindh Revenue Board. The numerous possibilities and recommendations presented by SRB were discussed.

It was determined that the future course of action regarding the sales tax on dental surgeons in Karachi and the rest of the province would be declared in a month following consultations with physician organizations.

Prof. Dr Nasir Ali Khan, Prof. Dr Shah Faisal, and others were present during the conference.
