Pakistan Medical Associations’ Delegation Attends Confederation in Malaysia

Penang, Malaysia- A five-member delegation of Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) visited Penang, Malaysia, in order to attend the 33rd Confederation of Medical Associations in Asia and Oceania (CMAAO) General Assembly and 54th Council Meeting.


The delegation comprised of President PMA Centre, Dr. Ashraf Nizami, Secretary General PMA Centre, Dr. SM Qaisar Sajjad, Abdul Quddus Khokhar, Dr. Sahibzada Masood-us-Syed and Dr. Sikandar Warraich.


The Council Meeting was based upon the theme “Path to Universal Health Coverage”.


Medical associations from different countries of the world also participated in this meeting, shared views regarding the theme and represented their countries and its medical status.


President PMA, Dr. Muhammad Ashraf Nizami represented Pakistan and delivered a talk on the respective theme; whereas Secretary General, Dr. S.M.Qaisar Sajjad, presented the Country Report at the Council Meeting.
