KARACHI: At least 96 students have been questioned by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) as part of an ongoing probe into the alleged leak of the papers during the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT).
Initially, the FIA had called 150 students for questioning, who recorded their statements in the presence of their parents.
As per FIA sources, all the students included in the probe had scored 190 out of 200 marks in the test.
The sources said that during the investigation, some students claimed they had received similar exam materials through WhatsApp just a day before the test. The FIA is now tracing the sources linked to the alleged paper dissemination.
Further investigations are expected as officials analyze student statements to uncover the extent of the leak.
