Dengue cases assuming alarming proportion in Karachi

KARACHI- The dengue fever cases in the city are assuming alarming proportion and it could be gauged from the fact that 320 dengue patients have already been reported this year in the metropolis.

Confirming that as many 25 dengue fever cases were reported last week in the city, an official of Sindh’s Dengue Prevention and Control Programme said that of the total 327 dengue fever cases reported since January 2015 in Sindh, 320 cases were detected in Karachi,  two cases in Hyderabad and one each in Umerkot, Sanghar, Shikarpur, Kashmore.

As many as 25 dengue cases have been reported last week in Karachi, he added.
