CHK trauma centre to be ready by June: Dahar

KARACHI- Trauma centre being built in Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) will be completed in the first week of June. This was stated by Sindh Health Minister Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar while talking to newsmen.

He said that the trauma centre will cater to the needs of trauma patients of Karachi and other parts of Sindh.

Earlier, speaking at a seminar held at the CHK on the theme of “Dangers of Radiation and Safety Measurement”, he highlighted the importance of creating awareness about dangerous radiological rays among medical staff as well as general public.

On this occasion, the minister assigned the task of creating awareness about the issue to a committee which will be headed by medical superintendent of the CHK.

The seminar was addressed, among others, by CHK’s medical superintendent Prof Saeed Qureshi, Prof Khalida Soomro and Prof Saba Sohail.
