Medical college of Pakistan receives international award

KARACHI: The Medical College of Aga Khan University has received the 2022 ASPIRE-to-Excellence Award for curriculum creation from the European Association for Medical Education.

Dr Adil Haider, dean of AKU Medical College, remarked, "This is truly a moment of pride for Pakistan and its academic community." 

He praised the academics and staff for "their exceptional contributions to preserving the greatest academic standards."

It is the third ASPIRE award obtained by AKU.  The two preceding awards were for Excellence in Assessment and Student Engagement.
