KARACHI: The Edhi Foundation has organised many boats for rescue and relief efforts in Karachi ahead of predicted rain from the Pakistan Meteorological Department during the Eidul Fitr holidays.
According to a spokesperson, several boats have been assembled at the Edhi Foundation's headquarters in Karachi's Tower neighbourhood. According to the MET office, this Eidul Fitr will see shifting weather patterns across Pakistan.
On the first day of Eid ul Fitr, the MET Office predicts wind and dust storms in Karachi and other Sindh regions the day before Eid.
Winds from the west have brought a dusty climate to the city, providing some respite from the hot weather, which is expected to remain between 35 and 37 degrees Celsius for the rest of the week.
