18 more COVID Vaccination Centres to be established in Karachi

KARACHI: The Sindh Health Department has decided to establish 18 more COVID-19 Vaccination Centres in the Karachi division to launch the drive's second phase.

A senior official of the Sindh Health Department informed that at least 18 COVID-19 Vaccination Centres are being set up across Karachi for the second phase of the drive. He informed that about 11 vaccination centres were established in the Karachi division for the vaccination of healthcare workers in the first phase.

He further informed that the second phase of the COVID vaccination drive would begin soon in the Sindh province; therefore, 18 more centres are being established to vaccinate elderly people.

The total number of vaccination centres will reach 29 in Karachi.
