Hochul confirms cases of Omicron in New York

New York, USA: Kathy Hochul, Governor of New York, recently confirmed the report of Omicron cases in her constituency.

Kathy Hochul revealed Omicron cases at a media briefing as per the news source. She claimed that one of the state's cases was a 67-year-old Long Island lady who had just returned from South Africa with moderate headache and cough problems. She further unearthed that the patient was tested negative in her previous lab test, and her results had been forwarded for further examination. Nonetheless, Hochul was not sure about the vaccination history of the patient. Moreover, she stated that four more cases were identified in New York, but information about them is not yet available. 

Hochul further stated that there's nothing to be concerned about. She acknowledged that currently, less information was available for Omicron. Additionally, she claimed that there would be more cases in the state and assured viewers that they were not defenceless against this new variant.
