Drive Against Dengue - Dahar seeks support of social media

KARACHI - Sindh Minister for Health Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has said that 500,000 pamphlets containing information about dengue virus will be distributed among people in the city to create awareness about the lethal disease.

In a statement, the minister said that these pamphlets would also be distributed among students of both the public and private schools.

Highlighting the importance of social media in creating awareness about the dengue virus, Dahar hoped that the media will leave no stone unturned in making the ongoing drive against dengue successful.

The minister directed in charge of the dengue programme, Dr Masood Solangi, to submit him report daily vis-à-vis the on-going awareness campaign.
