Pakistani entities to set up free cataract surgery camp in Somalia

KARACHI: COMSTECH and Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital Pakistan, in collaboration with Al-Nur Foundation Somalia and Benadir University Somalia, will jointly organize a 10-day free cataract eye surgery camp in Mogadishu, Somalia from March 1.

The primary objective of this initiative is to combat avoidable blindness by providing free cataract surgeries to those in need in the African country.

The camp will be held at Dalmar Specialized and Teaching Hospital in Mogadishu, Somalia.
