Dengue Fever Cases on the Rise in Karachi!

30 more Dengue cases surface.

KARACHI- As many as 30 more Dengue Fever cases were detected across the city of Karachi, taking the reported cases toll to 519 in the city, since 1st January 2018.

As per weekly report issued by Prevention and Control Program for Dengue in Sindh, at least 34 new dengue fever cases surfaced across the province of Sindh, out of which 30 were from the city of Karachi and 4 from other districts.

In June, a total of 122 dengue cases have been reported throughout the Province of Sindh, out of which 115 were reported from within Karachi, and 7 from other nearby districts of Sindh.

This year, till date, a total of 551 Dengue cases have been reported throughout the Province of Sindh, out of which 519 were reported from within Karachi and 34 from rest of the Province.

Unfortunately, this year, a death was also reported in Karachi due to dengue.
