Karachi: National Institute of health (NIH) Pakistan advises the citizens of the country to wear masks during all social gathering and majalis throughout the country during the month of Muharram
As Muharram begins, majalis across the country have also commenced. The first 10 days of the month of Muharram shall allow for the regular attending of majlis as well as other social gatherings to remember the tragedy of Karbala.
NIH data shows 1 death as well as 661 new cases, as of Monday 1st August, 2022. NIH advises all Pakistanis to wear masks throughout all majalis and social gatherings throughout Muharram.
