The committee also comprised Sherry Rehman, the federal minister for climate change, Syed Aminul Haque, the federal minister for information technology, and Khialdas Kohistani, a member of the National Assembly.
A delegation of federal ministers viewed the Keti Bandar coastline from above and examined the damage caused by the severe rainfall.
Sadiq Memon, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Sindh, Hameed Panhwer, and SSP Adeel Chandio were also present at this event.
The federal ministers toured several regions of Badin city and stated that the country is confronting climate change and that the goal of the committee's visit is to assess the relief efforts, ground situation, and damage caused by record monsoon rains and floods.
Sherry Rehman stated that following the evaluation, the committee would submit a report to the federal and provincial governments regarding the damages so that efforts may be made to rehabilitate the affected regions.
