LAHORE- Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, Chief Minister of Punjab, agreed to expand Rescue 1122 services across the province.
Rescue 1122 will expand its emergency services to 86 more Tehsils in Punjab. Pervaiz Elahi stated that the services would be invested to benefit the province's populace. He added that during the current budget year, the province's twenty-seven districts would also receive motorcycle rescue services.
He stated that Rescue 1122 was founded during his last term as chief minister of Punjab in order to help the general public.
Under the Punjab Emergency Service Act of 2006, Rescue 1122 was formed for the professional handling of crises like road traffic collisions, medical emergencies, building collapses, fire, hazardous material events, explosions, flood & water rescue, and animal rescue, etc.
