LAHORE: Punjab has reported 93 new confirmed dengue cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 1,724 this season.
A spokesperson for the Punjab Health Department stated that measures are being taken to manage the rising number of dengue cases.
Earlier, Rawalpindi experienced a significant surge in dengue cases, recording 110 positive cases in a single day — the highest count this year. Since January 2024, Rawalpindi has reported a total of 960 cases. Pothohar Town (Peri-Urban) contributed significantly to this spike, with 54 new cases reported.
