RIYADH: Despite international pressure to increase output, Saudi Arabia's cabinet, led by King Salman bin Abdulaziz, reaffirmed its commitment to the OPEC+ agreement, a deal between ten major crude oil producers and Russia to gradually increase supply to meet demand, according to a statement released by the Saudi state news agency.
The cabinet was updated on a phone conversation between Saudi Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman and French President Emmanuel Macron, during which the kingdom reaffirmed its commitment to "the stability and balance of the oil markets," per the state news agency.
