LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed that Haris Rauf, Pakistani cricketer, tested positive for COVID-19 two days before the start of the Pakistan-Australia series.
The cricket board announced that Rauf had tested positive for a rapid antigen test and that he had been placed in isolation as a result.
According to the board, "Further information will be provided in due course."
In Rawalpindi, Pakistan, the three-match Test series will begin on March 4, and the city's police force has finalised security measures and will deploy around 4,000 officers.
