Punjab CM opens ‘Clinic on Wheels’ project 

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz inaugurated the Clinic on Wheels project at a ceremony recently held in Lahore in a bid to provide medical and diagnostic facilities, besides free medicines, to some 4 million people of the underserved areas of the province.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the chief minister said that containers could be used for providing treatment to people instead of protest; in a reference to the use of containers by the opposition PTI for agitation in the past.

She highlighted the government's efforts to bring Punjab out of a period of stagnation and lead it towards development, reversing the setbacks faced during the previous administration.

The CM underscored the Punjab government's commitment to bringing health facilities to the people’s doorsteps.
